Party All the Time

The last couple of weeks seem like an endless stream of parties. Maddie's had invitations to parties from lots of friends ... she's had parties at school ... she's had her own birthday party with her school friends ... and she's had Bammy in town to play with her, which is always a party (especially for dad :).

And if the parties weren't news enough, Maddie completed her first year of school and she had the lead in her class play.

Isabelle has also been very busy. She's started eating solid foods and she's keeping in shape by trying to crawl and performing acrobatics in her bouncer.

Here's the highlights (in no particular order, mostly because it's been so crazy that daddy doesn't remember the chronology anymore):

Maddie's b-day party with school mates: the 'Almost Sleepover'
(picture: decorating pillow cases with friends).

Bouncer acrobatics (Isabelle's upset because she's stuck).

Pretending to turn 5 (blowing out candles on b-day cupcakes).

The 'party wear' is from Petit Bateau (the tiara was Maddie's idea).

The party was pretty crazy; this picture was taken during one of the quieter moments.
Gifts from friends (thank you all for Maddie's wonderful gifts).

This is what was inside the present in the last picture.

Taking Isabelle for a ride.

I love this demonstration of dexterity.

Doesn't it look like she's say a prayer?

I just thought this was a cute picture.

Isabelle at Maddie's K1 class picnic.

Three little monkeys (Maddie's a poser).

One of the two best teachers a kid could have.

The other best teacher a kid could have.

Maddie's school play ('The Little Black Cloud').

After Jeh's party: party dress and painted face (a butterfly).

Pretending to turn 5 at school (check out the hat).

Maddie, Bammy, Chester and Mamma.

Isabelle's first solid meal (the pj's are the same that Maddie wore for her first solid meal).

I love the "almost sleep over" party. Decorating pillow cases is such a cute idea.

Isabel (I'm not sure of the spelling) is SO cute! Makes me want another one, for a second anyway. I just need to remember days like today and I am fine with five kids! Your kids are adorable!
