Australia Day
January 26th is Australia Day. We tried to spend the day just like the Aussies. First, we went to the beach. Then, we went to Kings Park to have a picnic and watch the fireworks with friends. Izzie said the fireworks were just like the ones in Barbie and The Three Musketeers.
Play in the Park
A couple of weeks ago, we went to a performance of Alice in Wonderland in Kings Park. Enjoy the photos of the girls with their favorite characters!
Science Day
Scitech is a hands-on science museum for kids. Recently, we went for the first time with our favorite church friends. We met at 10:00 and finally managed to pull the kids away about 3:30. The girls had such a good time that Mom bought an annual pass. Izzie has big plans to go back soon for Toddlerfest.

Kangaroos and Koalas
We spent the first weekend of the new year at Caversham Wildlife Park. We don't know if it was the heat or the relaxed Aussie lifestyle but most of the animals slept through our visit. We fed the kangaroos, took photos with the sleeping wombat and tried not to wake the koalas.
Isabelle's Big Day
We arrived in Utah just in time to celebrate Isabelle's birthday in Midway. The birthday girl enjoyed dinner and cake with aunts, uncles and cousins. We didn't think Isabelle would mind celebrating twice!
